Before We Begin

A place for good stories, honest thought, and better relationships.

A little about BTWN LVRS, the woman behind the words, and why love, life, and all that jazz keep finding their way onto the page.

BTWN LVRS is a rom-com relationship column devoted to love, friendship, communication, emotional clarity, relational truth, and the conversations we do not always know how to have out loud.

The writing here lives between psychology and everyday life, laughter and heartache, love and accountability, solitude and connection.

Nothing here is meant to rush you, fix you, or hand you another rigid set of rules for relationships.

Read slowly. Laugh honestly. Recognize a few patterns. Return when a story stays with you.

What You’ll Find Here

The Rom-Com Relationship Column

Stories and observations about love, dating, friendship, marriage, attraction, communication, heartbreak, repair, and the wonderfully complicated ways people reveal themselves in relationship.

Essays & Reflections

Personal, cultural, and relational writing rooted in emotional intelligence, lived experience, pattern recognition, and thoughtful inquiry.

Audio & Companion Pieces

Select columns may include spoken reflections or companion audio from the BTWN LVRS podcast.

Invitations to Look Deeper

Some stories may open into longer conversations about emotional availability, boundaries, intimacy, accountability, self-trust, and what it means to know and love another person well.

This Space May Be for You If…

You enjoy relationship writing with warmth, humor, and substance.

You think deeply but do not need everything wrapped in clinical language.

You want insight without shouting, gender wars, or ten-second solutions to twenty-year patterns.

You believe friendship matters in love.

You value emotional maturity, honest conversation, personal responsibility, and the pleasure of a well-told story.

You do not need to agree with everything written here.

You only need to be willing to sit with it.

Before You Begin

There is no required order.

Start with the latest column, follow a subject that catches your attention, or simply read what finds you.

Some pieces may feel like mirrors.

Others may feel like questions.

A few may make you laugh before quietly stepping on your toes.

Take what resonates. Consider what challenges you. Leave room to return later.

A Note From Tee

I have always been enamored with love, life, and all that jazz.

Long before I built a career around recognizing the patterns that shape human behavior and relationships, I was fascinated by relationship columns and intrigued by matchmaking. I wanted to understand how people found one another, why they chose one another, what made them stay, and what caused them to lose each other even when love was present.

BTWN LVRS is where those parts of me come together.

I write here to explore love and self-respect, intimacy and friendship, attraction and compatibility, heartbreak and joy, healing and responsibility, and the often hilarious distance between what people say they want and what they actually do when relationships enter the room.

This is writing as storytelling, conversation, reflection, and offering.

You are welcome to read quietly, join the conversation, or stay awhile.
